Who we are
This website is run by Pip's Colour Adventures, based in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for any personal data collected here. You can contact us at hello@colourwithpip.com.
This site is for grown-ups
Our books are for children, but this website, its sign-up form and its emails are for parents, carers and teachers. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children. If you think a child has given us their details, please tell us and we will delete them.
What we collect and why
- Email sign-up. If you join our mailing list, we collect your email address and, if you give it, your first name. We use them to send the free colouring pages you asked for and occasional news about new books. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email.
- Emails you send us. If you email us, we keep your message and address only as long as needed to reply.
Our mailing list is run by an email service provider acting on our behalf (we will name it here once it is set up). They store your details securely and only use them to send our emails. We never sell or share your details with anyone else.
We keep your details until you unsubscribe, then remove them.
Cookies
This website does not set any cookies of its own and does not use advertising or tracking cookies, so you won't see a cookie banner. If we add visitor statistics, we will use a cookie-free, privacy-friendly service that does not identify you.
Videos on our Watch page are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube may set cookies once you press play. Links to Amazon take you to Amazon's own website, which has its own privacy policy.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to see the data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted and to object to how we use it. Just email us. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
